Features of the curriculum
LEAP Education Program (Learning Enhancement through Activities and Play-based Education Program, abbreviated as LEAP Education Program)
LEAP is an innovative curriculum developed by Miss HoHoHo, who has more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education. This program aims to ignite children’s passion for learning, nurture their creativity and problem-solving skills, and promote their overall development. Drawing inspiration from educational theories such as Montessori, multiple intelligences, and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)… etc, LEAP is tailored to meet the psychological and developmental needs of young children. It advocates for an integrated approach to play, exploration, and learning, where children’s interests guide the teaching themes and activities provided by teachers.
LEAP classes follow a mixed-age, cyclical, exploratory, and theme-based teaching approach. Prior to enrollment, tutors conduct comprehensive assessments and engage in discussions with parents to determine suitable courses and groupings.
Here is the grouping reference:
Stage 1 – Happy Wonderland (1-2 years old)
Stage 2 – Creative Play (2-4 years old)
Stage 3 – English Fun (3-6+ years old)
Through LEAP programs, students naturally acquire skills in nine key learning focuses and developmental areas, including:
- Instilling positive values
- Fostering character development
- Enhancing communication and language skills
- Building confidence and empathy
- Encouraging imagination, creativity, and artistic expression
- Developing mathematical and logical thinking
- Cultivating observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Nurturing interpersonal relationships and emotional management
- Promoting physical development
Moreover, the LEAP curriculum places a strong emphasis on cultivating children’s understanding of traditional Chinese etiquette and their ability to navigate social interactions.
Miss HoHoHo supports a harmonious home-education relationship by providing teaching materials and resources for at-home learning. This encourages parental involvement, enhances understanding of children’s needs, and strengthens parent-child relationships.
LEAP Stage 1 : Happy Wonderland
Unlocking the Golden Age of 0-2-year-old development, we ignite children’s boundless curiosity and unleash their learning potential across physical, socio-emotional, language-cognitive, and character realms, paving the way for their remarkable growth.
Our dynamic classroom invites little explorers to roam freely, while our skilled teachers expertly guide them towards acquiring new skills through captivating games tailored to their unique abilities and progress.
We warmly welcome parents to actively participate in our classroom community, equipping them with invaluable insights on seamlessly extending the enriching learning experiences into their child’s everyday life.
LEAP Stage 2: Creative Play
Under the guidance of our teachers, children actively participate in setting learning themes, spanning from real-life experiences and natural sciences to social phenomena, cultivating their autonomy and motivation for learning.
Our classrooms also feature a variety of sensory games (such as Sensory Play and Messy Play) and social training activities, enhancing both fine and gross motor skills as well as social development in children.
LEAP Stage 3: English Fun
Stage 1: Starter (S) (Ages 3-5)
Stage 2: Intermediate (I) (Ages 4-6)
Stage 3: Advanced (A) (Ages 6 and above)

We place a strong emphasis on encouraging children to express themselves through interactive sharing and discussion sessions, which not only enhance their communication abilities but also nurture their independent thinking skills.
To ignite children’s interest in learning, we utilize a wide range of teaching materials and engaging board games that align with different themes.
We also provide parents with valuable feedback, learning materials and effective techniques to support home-based learning.
Our curriculum focuses on key areas such as:
- Building a solid foundation in basic phonics
- Nurturing everyday conversational skills
- Developing reading comprehension abilities
- Strengthening counting, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
To ensure that each child receives an optimal learning experience, our experienced teachers assess their abilities and determine the most suitable entry level within our three-level curriculum.
